Arsenal head coach Unai Emery: "Firstly we need to win and I think it is very important that in the last match, we won".

With six goals from their last two games it appears that Arsenal's attack has begun to function at something like full effectiveness, but having conceded three in return - very almost costing them two points against Cardiff - their defensive organisation still leaves much to be desired.

"My idea first isn't to change 11 players for one competition and the next competition", he said. "In this process, we will work, we will help him, give him the possibility on the pitch to be together, to find his qualities for us".

"Every conversation with him is speaking about us and about our work here every day", he said.

"He had a relaxing three days off at the weekend".

Chief executive Ivan Gazidis' future looks less certain, though, with AC Milan having re-opened negotiations with him.

Asked about his tactics today, Benitez said: "Every game is different".

"Saturday is another step, it will be hard but I want to continue [to show] our personality and impose this on the opposition". We will try to set a team up that can win with the tactics, and that's what I have to do.

"Last year, we had some games in a row (when) we weren't winning, but we were close".

"He needs to get the best out of them and then see what he needs to add to the team".

You never know because your body, sometimes you start with some problems, some injuries and you can't continue giving 100 per cent.

We certainly hope they find the win as well, and we really could do with another away win to give us belief that we can still make the Top Four, and to be honest anything less than three points at troubled Newcastle would be unacceptable to the fans.
