MARVEL's FEIGE Wants Female-Fronted Superhero Films to be the 'Norm'

I really thought when they hired me, 'I am the worst choice for an action movie.' And I didn't know that I had a little Keanu Reeves in me! However, it certainly appears that the massive success of Warner Bros.' Wonder Woman has put to rest any idea that superheroine-led films are inherently box office poison.

Speaking of Earth, Captain Marvel takes place in the mid-'90s, long before Steve Rogers was defrosted or Tony Stark built his first suit.

"With [Ant-Man and The Wasp] and now with Captain Marvel and many movies to be announced in the near future, I'm anxious for the time where it's not a novelty that there is a female-led superhero movie, but it is a norm", said Feige.

They'll join Carol Danvers, the military pilot who wages a crucial battle within - between her human and superpowered Kree traits.

Pulling these facts together, Screen Greek has developed a pretty convincing theory about what Carol's origin story could be, presumably as told by flashbacks in Captain Marvel.

Boston's Ayanna Pressley follows trail blazed by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Pressley lives in the Dorchester neighbourhood of Boston with her husband, Conan Harris, and stepdaughter. She was endorsed by fellow congressional upstart Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who knocked off veteran Rep.

Feige also noted that Captain Marvel is strong enough to move planets, which potentially makes her the most powerful hero in the MCU.

"This is not a superhero who's ideal or otherworldly or has some godlike connection", says Boden, who's the MCU's first female director.

EW tweeted a photo of Larson's Captain Marvel, unveiling her for the first time ahead of her March 8, 2019, debut in theaters. He went on to say that her humanity is "also the thing that makes her great". But never to be forgotten is Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and the Fury we see in "Captain Marvel" isn't one were familiar with.

The film's Starforce adds Lee Pace as warlord Ronan the Accuser, reprising his role from 2014's "Guardians of the Galaxy". They feature the first look at Brie Larson as the title character and of the shape-shifting aliens called the Skrulls.

Marvel has indicated that Captain Marvel will be the new face of the franchise after the "Avengers" films come to an end.
