The complex process that goes into the creation of each OnePlus 6 Red device elevates it to a higher standard of industrial craftsmanship, unmatched in the industry.

As was made pretty clear on Friday, a red OnePlus 6 is indeed on the way.

The OnePlus 6 Red is available with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Shenzhen-based company also earlier this year brought the OnePlus 5T Lava Red variant to India that was inspired by the colour of cooling lava.

This new color of the OnePlus 6 is a limited edition option, so it could sell out quickly on the 10th. The OnePlus 6 Red also has a glossy look to it that Lau attributes to the inclusion of an evaporated layer of brightening film in the design process to keep a bright coating. The company claims the effect cost an extra $5 per phone. The new color will maintain the same $579 price-tag as the other colors and will be available from July 10.

Available with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, the red limited edition OnePlus 6 will be available exclusively in the U.S. and Europe from the OnePlus website for $579 (£519). The OnePlus 6 Red was carefully crafted to reflect who we are and what we do. There is a kind of power in red, which the OnePlus logo has always tried to articulate.

Google Home devices, Chromecast hit by global outage
If you're also receiving this specific error message, don't bother resetting the speaker like I did because it won't fix anything. Google originally responded on Twitter by telling people that they may not have set up their Chromecast or Google Home correctly.

Deciding on this color was not without its challenges. The Lava Red of the OnePlus 5T was special as a fourth-anniversary edition.

While previous models of the OnePlus 6 have borne the tag "The speed you need", this one is also billed as being "The Red you need".

The OnePlus 6 Red will be featuring the same specs as other models.

The phone carries a dark red finish, which OnePlus claims to have designed by using a never used before blend of optical coating, evaporative film and six panels of glass.
